Our address database

Our database contains current, official and ready-to-use data on more than 9 million addresses in the Netherlands. We combine and process information from reliable sources such as the Basisregistratie Adressen en Gebouwen (BAG) of the Kadaster, the Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek (CBS) and energy labels from EP-Online of the Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO), so you have instant access to an optimized and complete dataset.

We update the database daily and make sure the data is always up to date. You can use the database via our API for real-time integration, or download it as an SQL file, ready for use in your own system.

Sources of our data

Basisregistratie Adressen en Gebouwen (BAG)

The BAG is the official registration of all addresses and buildings in the Netherlands. It is managed by the Kadaster in cooperation with municipalities and other government agencies. Our database contains the following BAG data:

Location and coordinates
Address attributes
Building attributes and status

Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek (CBS)

The data on districts, neighborhoods, municipalities and provinces is obtained via the CBS.

EP-Online

Energy labels of buildings come from EP-Online, the official national database of the Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO).

API vs. database download

You can use the database in two ways:

API access - via our reliable and fast API (~ 50ms)
SQL file download - for offline use or your own implementation

The following data is included in the database:

Addition

Municipality
Province
Country
Coordinates (latitude and longitude)

On request we can also provide the following additional data:

Public space type (road, water, landscape area, etc.)
Location type (residence, retail function, office function, etc.)
Building information (construction year, surface area, etc.)
District and neighborhood
Energy label
